The following is a list of Web 2.0 resources that you may be able to use to complete projects in Economics and other NWHS classes. All resources on this page are free and none require any additional software installation. However, to use most of the sites listed here, you must first register for the site.
Use this site to create digital flash-cards. After you add the terms and definitions, Quizlet will create flashcards and two study "games" using the terms you provide.
Animoto
- Use this site to create a 30-second music video. Upload pics, select (or upload) some music and Animoto will put together the video.
Glogster- A site that can be used for creating on-line posters that can include images, sound, video, and links.
Google Docs- A web-based alternative to Microsoft Office. Google Docs contains a word processor, spreadsheet, and presentation program.
MakeStickers- Use this site to create bumper stickers. This site might be useful in Social Studies classes. No site registration required.
PikiStrips- An on-line comic strip creator in which you can upload images and add voice bubbles.
Pixton- An on-line comic strip creator.
